Autohaus European has been faithfully servicing vehicles between Whangarei and Whangaparaoa since 1998. A European car specialist, we are NZ trade qualified and certified to perform all types of work, including a Warrant of Fitness and are an approved authorised repairer for all aftermarket warranties.

Our Team
Adrian and Hayley Sutton – owner-operators
Adrian and Hayley have more than 30 years' combined education and experience. Starting his career in 1989, Adrian completed an automotive engineering apprenticeship with Honda in 1989, and also worked for Honda NZ and Jerry Clayton BMW. Adrian also spent time in England and Bermuda, gaining vast experience from working in specialist garages for BMW, Volvo and Audi. Upon his return to NZ, he became the foreman at Jerry Clayton BMW then joined Autohaus in 2005. He has completed several courses through Bosch and AES and is an authorised Warrant of Fitness inspector. Adrian continues to enhance his knowledge and skill base through regular specialised automotive and Bosch training courses.
Claressa Sutton - office administrator
Claressa joined the Autohaus team 2014 with a strong administrative background. She enjoys the busy, fast pace and diverse nature of the automotive industry. Claressa has completed the extensive Bosch Service Excellence programme and continues to develop her knowledge and skills.
Cameron Farr - Senior Technician
Cam joined the team in 2014 as an apprentice, after initial work experience through Rodney College. He has a strong mechanical background, having been involved in the maintenance and repair of vehicles on his family farm. Now a qualified Automotive electrical and Mechanical Engineer, Cam continues to upskill through Bosch automotive training courses.
Matt Dunn - Technician
Matt joined the team in 2019 having previously worked in a mechanical workshop. He has completed his apprenticeship, now a qualified Automotive Electrical and Mechanical Engineer. Matt continues his education on Air conditioning and a variety of other skills through specialised automotive and Bosch training courses.
Jack Oldfield - Apprentice
After spending some time with us doing work experience through Rodney College, Jack joined the team in early 2020 as an apprentice. He is passionate about the automotive industry and is striving to acquire as much knowledge as he can about the trade.
